I am toying with the idea of selling a foundation hom SNF black liver draft mare just for the simple fact that she has foals (none of them are mine). In order to combine my lines I need her to have 2 kit genes. Right now if I were to breed her it wouldn't do me any good.

Do you think it would be rude of me to contact the owners of the foals to see if they'd be willing to yum the foals if I provide them with 2 guaranteed eggs from her after she gets 2 kit genes?

Or do you think I should just sell her?

It’s worth a shot to ask, I assume you are talking about Penniless? I own one of her 4 living foals, I would gladly sell mine back to the game for 2 guaranteed eggs.

I’m sure they’d be willing to sell off the foals if you’re happy to compensate them. She doesn’t have grand foals as well does she?

That's a good point to look at, RedDee. All offspring have to be sold back, not just first gen foals, as someone else found out the hard way a few days ago. I don't know if she's old enough for that or not but it's something to look into.

All offspring are only 2yrs old :) no grandfoals.

edit: looking at the foals these people have, I can't ask them to yum. They don't own the stallions either. I cannot do that to anyone. I will just think about what I can do with her.

2 of Her foals are by my stallion freakish.
I’m happy to donate a gaurenteed straw each to ensure they get another intact foal from your egg if you decide to ask them to yum. If that’s what’s stopping you from asking :)

My friend Ceffyl has one, and the stud is mine, Snowy Knight. I can give her all the straws she needs.

That just leaves one, and I bet if you PMd the owner of the foal and stud to explain the situation they'd be okay, as both of them are very kind people. :)

If the last person will sell their horse back and you are gonna modify her, be sure to PM me and ill sell my boy back to the game. :)
