Ugh, its my birthday today. You'd think I would wake up happy. Instead, I have a nasty cold and I'm feeling my depression making an appearance.

Well, it is still early. Things can still change.

A good many years ago, I read this--If you medicate a cold, it will last 14 days. If you don't, it'll be gone in 2 weeks. :D

I hope your cold disappears more quickly than that, and that you have a great birthday in all other ways.

Luckily I never really medicate colds, just tough then out. Though sooner would be nicer.

My birthday is the 26th. That day I have to take a pretty serious test. Then swim which makes me sick or gives me nose bleeds. Then get a shot and I won't see my boyfriend that day cause he's going to take a test so he can enlist in the army and I don't want him to enlist. So I feel ya girl. Much love. Feel better. Happy birthday!

If it makes you feel any better on my birthday I spent most of the day in bed because I had been up until 7 or 8 am drinking and I was at the tail end of food poisoning so probably not an excellent thing to do :))
My tummy was an absolute mess. I finally got up late afternoon or early in the evening to my family who I was snowed in with bustling around the house lol. Thankfully the beginning and the end of my birthday were very nice. The middle part not so much :))

However I do hope you had at least a few great moments of your birthday. I'm sorry youre feeling that way!
