new interesting project

so i have worked on this for a few months and i finally have the first generation where i got what i wanted, the snowflake with watercolour. however, since the horses have a fantasy gene, they only show up in the fantasy breeders club, even though its obvious they are snowflakes.
i really like the look of them but wonder over time if they will fade out to white like so many of the snowflakes?
thoughts?
also wish there was another way to test or show snowflake if a horse has it but i guess thats what makes it an exciting gene :)

I believe that watercolor appaloosas will varnish.
This 10 year old silver bay splash watercolor seems to be showing more varnishing than the thumbnail in my searchresults.

So, I would say that your foals will also have enlarging snowflake spots and may end up very white before they age out of the game.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Yes, all appies will varnish, but the degree/speed of the varnishing will vary :) Very cute babies!
