I just created this Autumn's Arrival RS. I know that she is chestnut, but she is a bit dark. Her genetic testing shows No Sooty copies. Is she hetero or homo DP? Senior/experienced players, please help me out.

Could the lighter color on the legs and face be from pangare though? Just going off the pic since there's no link. :)

She's definitely pangare - I think Confluence may just be considering how -much- the pangare has (or hasn't) lightened its territory.

My vote is on het, too - I had a mare that looked almost exactly like that before I GMTd two sooty on her and it made her a regular liver.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!
God grant me the hbs to buy the ponies I need,
The fortitude to resist the shiny ones I truly don't,

Het sooty, no dp

Hom sooty, no dp
And from what I’ve seen, dp seems to be equally as strong of a darkening factor as sooty, if not slightly more so when hom.ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

In chestnut, het DP non-sooty looks very close to het sooty no DP, and hom DP non-sooty looks very close to hom Sooty no DP. You can almost always accurately guess het/hom DP non-sooty chestnuts by comparing to non DP sooties. Future refrence. ;)#28036
