I have just gotten my first ever set of twins! I assume they are fairly rare because of the thousands of foals I've bred this is my first set.

Are these foals that were made using straws and eggs from the same sire and dam (aka embryos)? Or did they both come from the mare from an actual covering by the stallion/his straw and no egg/embryo be involved?
I see this a lot and am always confused and think they're just random embryo foals. LolLove,

This was an old fashioned breeding. No straws, eggs, or embryos where removed. I payed to breed her to that stud and she had twins. I accidentally did BA on one and now she's snipped.
