Out of 24 foals this season I was left with only 4 intact. Is that pretty normal or am I doing something wrong?! That seems to be pretty average over my last 3 seasons. Just want to make sure I’m not doing something that can be avoided becuase I lost a lot of gorgeous babies this year :/

It doesn’t seem unusually low to me. To increase your chances keep your mares in the pasture and do pasture breeding to get a breeding bonus on the Mares side.
It also helps to make sure you are breeding even ability horses together. So Stars matched to Gold Mares. As matches to Blue Mares. Bs matched to Red Mares. And Cs matched to yellow Mares.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

Lol I love my show horses. They pay for everything except my premium upgrade (only because it’s not available with game cash not because it isn’t affordable) including 1000stall barns for my show horses.
Around Christmas I looked at the ratio I was getting and it was about 400 show horses : 30 intacts and I was quite happy with that (that was after I had used SBA and a few other stricter requirements to stay intact not just what was intact after free testing) -
I need more barns. I don’t have the room to keep more show horses right now. Sigh lol I want to keep them all haha

I don't really have a high ratio of intact to snipped. This season with the small foals I bred I ended up with 1:15 ratio to intact:show. I'm very picky with who gets to pass with excess culling after SBA.
Tbh, I'd say you're about right on the mark, ad had a better season than I did.#4519
