I’m super thrilled!! Bred my first hom nexus lady, and my first foal to break the 12PT barrier! I was taking a gamble with only 12 days in the pasture with the dam, but I couldn’t be happier!

The boy will have his copy of E GMTd off in the hopes he caught his dads copy of DP too. I’m still having a hard time believing I got those two beauties.

@Amour33 It stands for Kit Promoter. In his genetics, you can see where he has 2 kit genes. He also has 2 hidden genes, called Kit Promoter genes, that cause the cloudy or hazy look that is covering his coloring on his shoulders and belly.

@Amour33 Here's a link to horses in the kit promoter club - in other words, hom KP and with two kit genes. When a horse meets those criteria, they show these white cloudy patches around and over the normal kit markings.

Nice! I have 2 het nexus Star* papered studs that are only 4 years old if you're looking to add more diversity to the line later on. Both are WB, one is chestnut het nexus/sabino 2 and the other is silver black het nexus/ice 8.
