12 foals...
-
I bred this stallion to 12 different mares, and each came out Amber Champagne. I got many pretty show ponies and a couple that might be used for special projects.

Well they were all going to be some variation of champagne, since the sire is homozygous champagne. Just luck of the draw they all also happened to pick up a copy of black as well. No clue if the agouti gene makes a difference, I don’t breed champagne.
Beautiful foals though, and congrats on the Superior to Sire colt in there :)Thanked by 1BurntHillCreek -
I forgot about that herd helper, but thank you I was pleasantly surprised to get one Superior.~☼~Welcome to Burnt Hill Creek Farm

Amber Champagne is Ch with E and A, and he’s hom for Ch and A, het for E. Already the foals are guaranteed to be 50% Amber Champagne, 100% if the mare is hom E. You miiiight get a Gold Champagne by breeding him to chestnut mares, but that’s a 50/50 chance. :)ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!
God grant me the hbs to buy the ponies I need,
The fortitude to resist the shiny ones I truly don't,
And the wisdom to know there will always be more next time.Thanked by 1BurntHillCreek
