    You can pick your breed name with one of the upgrades. Just a bit of fun. There are rules around what you can name them--can't be a real breed name or be anything that gets more than 2mil hits on Google for instance.

    They're really just a way of personalizing horses, like tattoos, but broader.
    If you're upgraded to basic or more, you can change the name of the breed for 10,000hb, as long as it's not a real breed or place and as long as it doesn't get more than 2 million hits on a Google search. For example, and shameless promotion, I made mine the Eorlingers because I wanted a reference to a book or movie, and the Rohirrim from Lord of the Rings called themselves the Eorlingas. Every horse you create will be called whatever you choose. :)

    When I upgraded on HaJ1 so that I could name my breed, I looked up how to say Sandy Creek in a number of languages. I like the German Bach Sandigen best, so my HaJ horses are Bachsandigan warmbloods and sport ponies. When I started playing HaJ2, I kept the Sandy Creek name, and chose the Norwegian for Sandy Creek as my breed name--Sandbuktian.

    Mine is Notios which is the Greek word for Southern because I'm Australian.

    Mine is the combination of my name and the end of the name of a person from a state, (Oregon/Oregonian,) which is where I would rather be right now.

    I have no upgrade, so I haven't my horse breed's name, but if I get an upgrade I'll find something from Polish or Persian language, probably.

    My name is something I found in a baby book many many many years ago. It's actually 2 names I found and put together. According to the book "Kerr" ment dark, and "Edan" ment flame, so my horses are Kerredian (the closest I could make it, and have it sound nice), from my Kerredan (Darkflame) name.

    Oh, yes, this actually reminds me, I did go to Google translate and try to do something with my username. :P I went through EVERY LANGUAGE for Forest and Rose (not that forest is in my username), and I narrowed it down to 7 different ones before I wondered if there were still other options. :) The 7 were: Trandafir, Miskas, Skogur, Sarnai, Vardebis, Golapa, and Antarr.
