I use GIMP because I can do transparent backgrounds and translucent tattoos.

If you don't want to download an art program, there are online programs you can use too. I use piskelapp, though you have to make sure to download as a png, because that's not the default option.

I just made a tattoo but I’m not sure how you put it on to the horse or even how to get the tattoo on the server, can anyone help?

1. Find the tattoo registry on the right side of your member home page under Upgraded Features. Your first tattoo slot is free, after that, they cost 10k each.

2. Where there is an unused tattoo slot listed, click on Browse. This will allow you to locate the tattoo you want to upload on your device. It must be no larger than 25 x 25 pixels and no more than 15kbs in size. Click on the tattoo image to enter it into the editor, then click Upload Your Tattoo. If it is correctly sized, it will now be part of your tattoo registry. There is also a place where you can give it a distinctive name so you will remember what you are using it for.

3. Go to a barn and select a horse you want to put the tattoo on. Click on the Tack tab and scroll to the bottom. Click on Edit Tattoos On This Horse, find the tattoo to add, select the place you want to put it and then click Place Tattoo. That should do the trick.
