So, I decided to add SpM to my Mushroom stallion.. and I'm a bit bemused at the result? Sorry for the big image, but I think this is the best comparison:
I guess I wasn't expecting it to impact his overall body colour quite so much. Did I just not do enough research? :))

Macchiato lightens horses similarly to one does of the cream gene, from what I can tell. So chestnuts usually look palamino, bays look buckskin, etc. This is a very interesting combination. I might have to put it on my mushroom cherry drop.

Beautiful! Macchiato doesn't alter the coat like cream, it's its own thing. Mushroom does. :) But woo!
