What is your favorite Macchiato foundie color?

I hope to add splash M to a foundation Stallion in honor of the coffee habit I gave up to afford gm tokens. But I can't decide on the best color Stallion to start it on. Black? Silver bay? Cherry drop? Red dun?
What base colors are you considering and why? -

The darker the better for me, though I have to say if you’re looking for DP as well, I can see a cherry drop being absolutely gorgeous with it. :)ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

I second the vote for dark colors - it creates a nice contrast. This is my black and white foundie mare and I love the black / macciato interplay

This has got to be one of my all time favorites - a brown appy. She has greyed out as she ages, but she was very loud in her youth!

Wow - I can see that the Slash M does lighten the whole coat a bit as well. I can see why you might want to start out with a dark coat. I am thinking Blue Roan, black, or brown. Though a sooty Wet and Wild or Cherry Drop could be cool too!
