Since he has a load of points I would do a forum auction starting off at 25k :)

I would also recommend a forum auction, but start it off at 10k - people will fight it well over 25k, don’t you worry, and people seem to bid more easily when the starting price is low :)

I wouldn’t be surprised if he passed 50-70k or maybe even 100k at that many points and being a RS, though. ;)

I think if he didn't have foals you might have had a bump in price on him. Those points are really nice though, I paid out 40k for a filly with 880 pts the other day.

I suspect it's so that whoever buys him could do GMT work on him to tweak his genetics. You can't do that once he's older than 4 or if he has living offspring.

^ Bingo, you hit it on the head! A lot of people would probably want to GMT off the lethal white but you can't do that with living offspring.

I'd be more interested in having him as a show pony and would probably geld him. I think there was a stallion a few months back that had a lot of GMT work and sold next to nothing since he already had foals on the ground.
