Hello HJ enthusiasts, I am just starting out on my journey to breed outstanding horses and have amazing awards to show for it ;) . I will probably have a lot of questions, and I already got a lot of questions answered through looking here. However I was not able to find an answer to these two:

How do you create owner notes on your horses? I cannot figure it out...
What is the difference between the multiple versions of sooty? S, SSty and S+ ? S recessive SSty dominant? But what about S+?

Owner notes are located on the control panel tab of the horses page.

S+ is even more sooty usually with a dappled effect. Playing with the search is the best tool for figuring out differences. You can see how changing one or two (or all) genes affect the horses

S = no sooty
Sty = sooty
So if a horse has stysty means it’s homozygous and will always pass sooty on to foals
If it’s SS means it will never pass sooty on
And if it has 1 S and 1 sty means it’s hetrozygous and has 50% chance of passing either sooty or no sooty on
