stud fee help
-
wondering what a good price for stud fee would be with this guy:
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=2033739
thank you for any help and if you could give information on why you think he should have a certian stud fee that would be awesome. thank you -
id say about 600-750hbs as although he is a rank special there are no real genes on him that add to his rarity as brindle isnt geneticly transfered through the parents. however having said that its what ever someone is willing to pay, to them your horse might have all the perfect genes so they will pay a lot more. this is just my personal interpretation :)
Thanked by 1lorishka -
Id probably put him up for between 500/1000hbs.the stallion can have multiple foals in one month, unlike a mare. Foundation mares are up for breeding for around 2.5k, and RS stallions (which you have) are usually up for 1k. If the stud had special genes, you could get anywhere between 10 and 20k, but he doesnt.
So, to sum it up:
-studs with common genes/foundation horses are usually put up for 500.
-Rank special horses, usually drafts, do sell VERY well.
-1k, in my opinion, is a little high for a stud fee but i bet you could totally pull it off.
So pretty much, id price his stud fee at 750- but, like i said, if you want a bunch of cash you could probably pull off 1k.Thanked by 1lorishka -
