What are you hoping to get from DBTO? The pale pearl coloration? Then I’d go for a homozygous cream mare so you’ll get a pseudo pearl. Champagne or dun? A start to your Gulastra Plume Herd (remember GP only shows when it’s homozygous and on a horse that has Agouti/bay base)?

I decided to emphasize the GP and the pearl at the same time, so I picked a Kings Lost Ransom Rank Special mare. A Wet N Wild mare would have the same effect (both rank specials are bay/brown based and het pearl). If I can help you by putting up a mare for brood for you, I’m happy to do so.

I've got 4 Wet N Wilds if you want to use one. They're all roughly similar though, and Cheers might have some better ones.

So I did it, bred my perlino mare and got this Buckskin pearl filly. I am scared to run testing on her and get her spayed as I wanna use her to get more pearl in my herd.
