(Its kinda long, so prepare yourself lol)

The other day, me my baby sister and my brother walked to the park to to get some fresh air and to just hang out. While there, my baby sister ran up to these little plastic toy buckets and shovels and she grabbed them. I quickly ran and told her not to play with other childrens toys, and the mother looked up at me and smiled saying "no, its totally okay. She can play with them if she wants." So we all sat there for like twenty minutes, playing with the little buckets and digging in the rocks. Not only did she let my baby sister and brother play with their toys, but when we finished off our personal water bottle she (without hesitation) ran to the back of her car and grabbed us a new bottle. Even though her acts were so small, it touched me because you dont see manu people like that nowadays: most would have probably shrugged us off and not offered water, but she was extremely sweet and i appreciated what she did for us.

(Also: another act of kindness that i witnessed is you doing this giveaway, and a couple other people on this site that have also done similar things. I had just started playing last week, and because of kind players like you i was able to get my barn up and running and a few good foals as well. :) )

My poor pup has been suffering chronic UTIs for the past 3 months. We took her back in to the vet last Tuesday to see if we could figure out what was going on. To top it off, her sister had something going on with her skin, and I was at a loss. Well, my UTI girl ended up needing an... interesting.... surgery to help minimize the issue. They made room on their schedule for her that same day so that she could find some relief right away. I was blown away. Every office I have ever dealt with has always had a waiting list unless it was an emergency, but they did a little shuffling to fit her in right then and there to try to ease her misery. Her itchy sister is also finding relief through medication. To top it off, the office called to check in on her to make sure she was doing ok the following day. I love this office, and will be heart broken when we are no longer travelling to Missouri often enough to use them.

How your happiness grew: This past weekend was our District 6 4h horse camp. My boys and I attended and participated in it. The reason my happiness grew is my best friend Amanda allowed my oldest son Robbie to use her Appaloosa mare Treasure for camp.
Watching my boys grow this weekend was the best. They grew with their horses and smiled while learning Beginners Contest. So they were taught barrels, poles, flags, and stakes.
We have attended horse camp for 3 years now and this year was the best. We are going to be going to our local shows this year to practice what they learned at camp.

How your happiness grew: So my husband and I with some friends run a LARP game. Our first event for this year is coming up soon and one our friends/players just made this long well worded post on Facebook basic asking people to come and help us out behind the scenes to run the game. It was wonderful seeing someone care enough to try to help us recruit NPC’s. ( NPC = people who play random monsters, towns folk and other background characters)

How my happiness grew:
There are really two things from this past week that has caused my happiness to grow. The first, my fiancé has been in a long drawn out custody battle over his kids, and he was finally awarded physical custody at his last court date. This Monday evening was the first time he didn’t have to take his kids back to their foster parents house (where they had been staying during the custody battle), and the look on his face when he woke up Tuesday morning to go to work and had his kids there was priceless to me.

The second, we rescued an older stray cat right before Christmas that had been hanging around outside our house for about a month. It was about to drop below freezing for almost two weeks, and he looked pitiful. We took him in, and weren’t sure he was going to make it. Over the past 5 months he’s struggled with eating and just getting around, since he’s lost many of his teeth and has arthritis. Last night, he proudly deposited a mouse he had caught at my feet, purring like a madman. While I was not pleased it was still alive and promptly tried scurrying over my foot, I was thrilled that my old man was finally getting some life back.

Today (Sunday) is the last day to enter! Winners will be announced Monday.
