How do I get emails when I breed?
-
I saw that members can receive an email after they breed with information about the foals. It made me wonder how I can sign up for this? I think this would be very helpful for future foals. Especially since I don't know how to rank my fillies.
-
The email is only for when you use the pasture to breed. It lets you know the best foal from that crop :)
-
Just yesterday I bred nine mares using the pasture. Does it only happen when I breed them one at a time? With different stallions? Because I did use only a single stallion.
-
Check your account info. I was talking to another player the other day who wasn't receiving pasture emails and they realized their game name had been spliced into their email address, causing them to bounce.
-
I gave it a look and my email looked clean, but I still "changed" it by re-entering my email just in case something was amiss.
Edit: I purposefully bred four mares in my pasture to see if I would get an email and I didn't. Strange. -
Ok. Don't know why then but you should get an email every time you breed your pastures (whether they auto breed or you click the button). It tells you who the best foal out of that batch of foals was, whether you breed one mare or ten pastures with 100 mares each...so if that information is valuable to you (and it can be very valuable if the foal happens to be a colt and you're having trouble deciding who to snip and who to keep), you probably only want to breed one pasture at a time.
Hope it's fixed now! -
Depending on your email server, you may have to put the hunt and Jump email address into an allowed list. The emails for my account go to my daughter's email address because she was the first member of the household to sign up, so I can't check now what that is. Maybe someone else will know.
