Some tips:

1. Keep some gelded/spayed horses just for showing. It takes a while to build up a show string, but once you do they will finance all your breeding and creating.

2. Use all of the free testing: gelding advice, mare advice, and showing aptitude test. They will determine whether your horse is a good breeder and whether they will produce quality foals. If there is a large difference in the quality of your mare and your stallion, the foals will often get gelded or spayed by the free testing.
