One of the hardest lessons I had to learn as a new player was to not keep a sub-par horse intact for breeding simply based on the fact I wanted the genes they carried. With this in mind I would like to reward 10 players who follow through with good breeding practices. If you alter a foal who you were tempted to keep intact because of genes even though they test only "as good as sir", or were inconsistent, or who didn't paper red or B at 2gen I want you to post a picture of your altered foal here and I will send you a fully tested foal as similar in genes to the one you posted for 1hb. Please keep in mind I breed for draft and I normally don't do Fantasy genes, though I do have a few. I breed even generation and will stick with 2nd gen foals only. I just bred my pastures today so it might take me some time to get the foals sent out. I will start with the first 10 people but I may extend it further.

I died a little inside when she was spayed last month. My first liver. I know she's unevenly bred, but I've had luck with getting non altered foals from my studs and fully pastured mares. She hurt my heart when I saw her and ran BA, even though I didn't have my hopes up very high.

My little heartbreaker. It was my bad though..I put a blue mare in the wrong pasture with a B stallion. This is my first homebred Snowflake! :,(

I had no idea my King's Ransom RS had DP! I normally BA everyone before I even look at pictures. I had two bay/brown hom sooty tobianos who I'm 90% sure are DP and both got snipped! Their PTs are so low, I'm not even keeping them to show :'(

@ EasternShowBarn I need you to make a choice for me. I can do a choc pal with KitM or I can do a Splash2. I run those genes in two separate herds so I don't have a horse who carries both. I'm very happy you spayed her though because that girl goes back to my own lines. You deserve a pat on the back.

I learned this a long time ago! But with this restarted account it does hurt more as I have so little space and funds!
This girl papered as required but didn't get the genes I wanted :( I've had no luck at all getting my favourite SB2!

I strictly do NOT look at foals before testing them for this very reason! This season I bred my first browns - three of them in fact! But they all got snipped. I know if I had looked at them beforehand, I would've been tempted to not test them.

However, I'm still keeping them around as show ponies, assuming they don't PT too low!

This foal is very close to the dream horse I've been trying for since I started. But it didn't meet the standards I want to breed for. So it got snipped
