The stress of determining a sf carrier!

This filly is het snowflake.. i assumed she got it from her dam! So i bred her dam to my hom sf several times.. i have gotten 3 appy foals and none have snowflake.. so im going to cross her sire with my potential carriers and see if perhaps he could be the hidden carrier! I know it can still be the dam and will continue crossing with my snowflake stud until i determine who is infact the carrier!
So any guesses who it is??

How do you figure she's het snf?? Either I'm missing something...or something isn't right because I'm not seeing any evidence of snf in the line at all. I'm seeing more varnish than anything?ID# 24891

You need someone who has a hom snowflake mare willing to breed with your guy :) I suspect it's the stallion but I am only guessing!

If you bred her dam to a hom snowflake guy 3 times and didn’t get a snowflake, either you have extremely bad luck or it’s just not the dam. If the dam was a carrier and bred to a hom sire you would have a 50/50 shot each time. I’m leaning towards the sire as the carrier.

Yeah ive started leaning to the sire too! I only just went and checked how many appy foals i had gotten from the mare and was shocked that there had been 3 wuth no sf!
I do have 1 hom sf mare i just realised maybe ill take an egg from her even though the foal will be uneven..
