The boys of Whiskey Oaks
  • Each roll over brings sadness in the lose of amazing horses but also happiness in the new faces of emerging boys who attempt to fill horse shoes of their sir's or even new boys who are filling in after the lose of a foundation herd sir. Here is a look at the boys who will be breeding this season at Whiskey Oaks.

    Foundation Lines
My herd sir for my Brown Line is WO1 Man Of Faith. He is a Yule Log RS stallion. This will be his first season in a pasture. I'm excited to see what he gives me. After he breeds his girls I would be happy to sell straws or if someone would prefer a live cover he will be put up in my Whiskey Oaks chat for people to use there. Both straws and live cover will be for 5000hbs

My herd sir for my Champagne Line is WO1 Champagne Nights. This will be his first season in the pasture. He's being added to help bring some pattern into my Champagne line. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Chili Line is my DP line with a little flare. My original DP line is strictly Flaxen Liver. This line has added genes like splash, appaloosa and other genes to add patterns. The herd sir for this line is BouncinDeconstructedChili. Currently his Average Foal PT is 9.95. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Cream Line is designed to breed both Perlino and Cremello. I have two herd sir's for this line. The Cremello stallion is WO1 Saint Johns Eve. He is a RS Bone Fire stallion with a current Average Foal PT of 10.34. The Perlino stallion in the herd is WO1 The White Raven. He is a RS Texas Tea stallion with a current Average Foal PT of 10.02. I will also be willing to sell straws from both of them after they have bred their girls here and they will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Silver Buckskin Line herd stallion is WO1 Give Me That Beat. He is a RS Rhythm Of Four stallion. His current Average Foal PT is 10.21. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Pearl Line herd sir is WO1 The Kings Jewel. He is a RS King's Ransom stallion. His current Average Foal PT is 10.05. At this point in time I'm not sure if I am going to open him up or if I'm going to treat him like a semi-closed line. That said I figured I would put him with the foundation group for now.

My Pintaloosa Line herd sir is WO1 Shavano. This lineI am looking for a Tobiano Appaloosa. I want the horses to have a very distinct look. I want a spotted butt, a solid middle, and either a white triangle across the shoulders or white over the shoulders that goes down the front legs. Shavano matches that description perfectly. He is a RS Stars and Stripes Forever stallion. His current Average Foal PT is 10.05. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Dun Line herd sir is WO1 Pumpkin Patch. He is RS Pumpkin Spice stallion. He is 18 this year so he only has a few years left to breed. His current Average Foal PT is 9.93. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Silver Bay Line herd stallion is WO1 Silver Fawkes. My Silver Bay line is another line I am breeding for a specific pattern. I want a white face with the white ending right before or right after the ears and all four white legs with a small amount of white allowed on the belly. Fawkes is a RS Silver Pocket Watch stallion. His current Average Foal PT is 9.98. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Gray Line herd sir is WO1 Soot and Ashes. This will be his first season in pasture. He is a RS Yule Log Ashes stallion. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Silver Black Line herd stallion is WO1 Black Pearl. He is a RS Yule Log stallion. His current Average Foal PT is 9.97. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

Had to break this up because I can't fit all my stallions in one post.
  • Love the lines so far! Your herd sires are gorgeous as always. I can't wait to see their babies!
    Thanked by 1fj1482
  • 4 more boys added.
  • I just love how uniform your boys are, looks professional! I’ve quickly become a fan of your lines and how much work you put into them.
  • Thank you very much. The tack on the boys is the tack I put on all the stallions that I think I might use in my own breeding program. If I sell a boy wearing that tack it's a dead giveaway that at one point he was in the running to stay and breed here.
  • The post got to long so I cut this one to just be foundation boys. The second post is 2nd generation boys.
  • 2nd Generation Stallions
For my 2nd generation Champagne Line I'm focusing more on Classic Champagne. With that in mind my herd sir this season is WO2 To Much Bubbly. This will be Bubbles first time in pasture. He currently has 4 foals on the ground with a current Average Foal PT of 10.4. I think he's going to produce some really nice babies this year with all his girls having that extra pasture bonus. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My Cream Line for 2nd generation I plan on rotating a Cremello and Perlino stallion each season. This season I plan to use a Perlino stallion by the name of WO2 Euphoria Morning. This will be his first season in a pasture. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

My 2nd generation Dun Line herd sir will be WO2 1216408. He really needs a name but I just haven't had the time to give him one yet. This will be his first season in a pasture. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

In my 2nd generation Silver Bay herd I'm still keeping with the markings mentioned in my foundation herd but I'm focusing also on DP in the herd. With that in mind my stallion this season is WO2 1215766. His current Average Foal PT is 10.38. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

  • Still adding boys who will be up this season.
This morning I'm starting with my Foundation Black Line. The herd sir this season is a new guy by the name of KS1 1459416 SS Black. If you can't tell by his costume he was a SS gift. This line I focus on a all black horse. I have a few 2nd generation brindles already in this line because the bulk of the girls are Blackest Night RS as well as all the stallions that I have used as herd sir over the seasons. This will be SS Black's first season in a pasture. He does have 15 foals on the ground currently with a current Average Foal PT of 10.09. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

For the 2nd generation Black Line herd sir I decided to go with WO2 Carlisles Curse. This will be his first season in pasture. He does currently have 3 foals on the ground with a current Average Foal PT of 10.77. I expect great things from this tall dark and handsome boy. I will also be willing to sell straws from him after he has bred his girls here and he will also be put up in the Whiskey Oaks chat for those who prefer live cover.

  • The next group of boys are in lines that I consider closed or " in house only". I do allow some of the out to other breeders but I only sell foals not cover or straws. I plan on going through their off spring and letting a few out in some lines. My rule of thumb is I don't allow more then 10 breeding horses out at any given time for these lines. I will post in the boys section if I am selling foals from that line this season.

First up is my Prodigious Line (Flaxen Liver Chestnut). This was my first draft line, created shortly after the draft body first came out. I currently have reached my limit on letting foals go to other farms from this line. I am currently breeding 3rd generation from this line. The herd stallion this year is WO3 Foiled Hue. He currently has 54 foals on the ground with a Average Foal PT of 11.05. I'm working on getting homo flaxen back into the herd. As you can see Hue is only het for flaxen.

    WO3 Foiled Hue

My next line is My Inferno Line (A+/GP). This line was created shortly after my Prodigious Line. I am currently breeding 3rd generation from this line. This line was built around a gelding I had as a kid. I focus on the wild bay with a bright copper coat. I added GP to the line just for a little bit of flare. This line I might let 2 foals go this year. I have a couple boys who are only het GP, one of them gave me my first star foal last season, who I might sell as well. If you are interested in this line please message me. I can be a little picky about who they go to. I would like for you to already have GP but it isn't mandatory. I basically want to make sure your going to hold the line to the same standards that I do. The boy I chose to use this season is WO3 Rapid Oxidation. He currently has 44 foals on the ground with his current Average Foal PT of 10.79.

Next up is my KP Line. This Line is currently closed because I'm still only in my Foundation faze and it is not up to par yet. The stallion for this line is WO1 Vishuda Chakra KP. Chakra is a RS Catch A Blue Moon stallion. He currently has 22 foals on the ground with his current Average Foal PT of 9.86.

The next line is my Shrapnel Line (Snowflake Appaloosa). This is the last of the three lines I created shortly after the Draft body first came out. I do plan on letting out at least 2 foals from this line. Just like my Inferno Line I prefer for you to already have snowflake but it is not mandatory. If you are interested in this line please message me. I am currently breeding 3rd generation from this line. The herd sir this season is WO3 Shrapnels Gunpowder. He currently has 36 foals on the ground with a current Average Foal PT of 10.47.

Still have a few more boys to go but it's time for a break.
  • Hopefully I can get the last of the boy posted tonight.

To start off this group is my Splash2/Sab2 herd. The sir for this herd is WO1 Charisma. He is a RS Brindle Breakout stallion. He currently has 112 foals on the ground with a Average Foal PT of 9.88. He is homo splash2 so I can't breed this group like I normally do. Normally I keep all the foals in the herd of their birth but homo splash2 is lethal so I am creating two herds for my 2nd generation one with all mare and one for stallions and then bringing in the opposite sex from my other lines who happen to carry W20. I'm breeding for a specific look for this line. I want the white "spider web" markings. I have found I have a higher chance of this happening when they carry splash2, sab2, w20, and are minimal to light white factor. I might be letting a few of these foals go this season so if your looking for splash2 or sab2 send me a message.

    WO1 Charisma

My next herd is a closed gene so any foals to be sold will be put up in the appropriate chat. My Macchiato Herd sir is WO1 Dunkin Donuts. He is a RS Brindle Breakout stallion. He currently has 68 foals on the ground with a current Average Foal PT of 9.92.

    WO1 Dunkin Donuts

My next herd is my Sugarbush Line. Created to take after the real life Sugarbush horses. I have two stallions in this herd. These season they are WO1 Braeburn, who is a RS Candy Appaloosa stallion, and WO1 Classic O, who is a RS Catch A Blue Moon stallion.
Braeburn has a current Average Foal PT of 10.3 and O has a current Average Foal PT of 9.88. I plan on selling 2-4 foals from this group this season. 2 from each stallion.

Next is my Shades Of Grullo Line. The herd sir of this line is NanoTech Excelsior Reader. He is a RS Nanotech Primer stallion. He has 65 foals on the ground with a current Average Foal PT of 10.27. I want to let a few foals go this season so if your looking for some silver grullo babies this guy is your man. He has gotten lighter as he has aged but in his younger years he has some amazing color and his babies have always been eye catchers.

For my 2nd generation Chili line this season I am using WO2 Neal Armstrong. I probably wont be selling any of his foals intact this season. He has 30 foals on the ground with an Average Foal PT of 10.24.

    WO2 Neal Armstrong

Next is my 2nd generation Pintaloosa line. The herd sir this season is WO2 Collar Me so named for his markings. He has 10 foals on the ground with a current Average Foal PT of 10.34. I might be selling a few foals this season from him.
    image
    WO2 Collar Me

Last but certainly not least is my 2nd generation Sugarbush line. The herd sir this season is WO2 1191636. He has 6 foals on the ground with a current Average Foal PT of 10.42. I think I will be selling 1 or 2 foals this season from him.

And that does it. That is all the boys who will be breeding this season at Whiskey Oaks. If you are interested in any foals from any of these boy drop me a message and we can talk about getting some foals into your hands. I hope you all have a productive breeding season and may the odds be ever in your favor.
  • Did some pasture breeding. I have to test all the foals but I thought I would give anyone who wants to see a chance to look at what might be up for sale after testing.
