Happy Valentine's Day! What's your ideal Valentine celebration? A night out on the town? Sitting in with a movie and chocolates? A long ride with your best friend? Work?

If you're the winner, you get to pick from a host of stallions/mares to breed from, or a single horse from the Monthly Rec. crew! You may find some DP, KP, rank specials and other treats!

Spending time with my husband and daughter. We have always included our children in Valentines day. We think it is only fair. We love each other and we love our children more than life itself. This year our 16 yr. old is the only one home. We will each get a gift. Then eat a special dinner. Later on we will watch a movie and have some popcorn. What could be better! ID: 39050

Spending some time listening to country music on my way to Tim McGraw or Carrie Underwood concert in America. Afterwards I would love to see Jumunji 2 while eating all sorts of treats and then I come home and have a nice warm bath while watching Netflix on my computer go to sleep late and wake up really late in the afternoon.

We love making it about the ppl we care about, me and the kids, we make cards for our close family & friends... We spend the day usually backing cookies and doing things together as a family.. Sledding, or trip to the ocean...

My ideal Valentine's Day would be a day at the barn with my three sweet horses. Riding with friends, jumping, and just spending time with my horses. Maybe even making homemade treats for them to enjoy!

Taking the family to the beach for the day. Having a homemade picnic, snorkeling, and watching the sunset beside a campfire while roasting some marshmallows.

Then all getting into the car, driving home, playing a board game together before watching a movie with treats and then bed.

My hubby and I don't believe it's a time for just us. We want it to be a family day. Our anniversary is on the 10th, so to us, that's the just the two of us thing. The 14th is an excuse for us to hit the beach and veg out with the kids before they get too old and have someone to spoil of their own.

Spending time with my parents and my son! My parents deserve all I can do. If I wasn't for them I wouldn't be here. Of course my son deserves everything I can give too. We exchange simple gifts to show our love and watch corny movies together.

Not ideal, but this year I will be spending Valentine's Day morning at the surgery center getting my stomach scoped :-< I haven't actually "celebrated" Valentine's Day since I was a kid in middle school but I would always get a stuffed animal from my mom and she sent my sister and I a little care package in the mail for our first year of college :) I've never had a significant other and since all my family members do, i'll be celebrating with my animals this year lol Recovering from my procedure by watching some YouTube :D

My ideal valentines is actually how my celebration went this year! My girlfriend and I had ours early due to financial situations. We went to the local store and let each other pick out what we wanted for valentines (I was keen on making it a surprise but she isn't big on surprises...). Needless to say we ended up with entirely too much chocolate! My birthday is the day before Valentines, so part of our celebration was also for my birthday. She took me to a very very good restaurant to eat at (one I had always dreamed of going to!) and we went to see a movie.

I am lucky to say that my ideal Valentine's day was my Valentine's day. I hope that everyone can have as good a day as I did!

I don't usually celebrate Valentines day. Not since losing my parents and having to move to the city from the country. I also had to give up my horses as I had no place to board them. This was really hard especially my mare I had for 21 yrs. But I now have 2 lively chiuhuaha's that I now always give gifts and treats to on every holiday. some times even just because I go out. Now they look in all my bags I bring in.lol. But they do often have good movies to watch on tv .

I have never celebrated valentine's day, mainly due to the men I've had in my life being not very romantic, or due to life.

But... last night my bf and I had plans for a date night. I work 1st shift, he works 3rd. We live an hour apart. We have been seeing each other about a month now and he's the most exciting man I've ever had in my life. Our plan was to go out to Chinese, then go home and watch movies or write/make music together (he raps, I sing).

But... life happened. He ended up sleeping til 830pm. We sat in bed together and talked. I fell asleep on his chest. He fell asleep caressing my back.

The simple things make the most memories. I had a great valentine's...even though we slept through it. We were together. :)

My ideal valentine celebration would have to be going on a long trail ride friends with a lovely picnic lunch with a few treats for the horses then we would ride home and go out for tea at a Chinese store

My ideal Valentine's Day would be spent cocooned in a blank on the couch with my beloved cats, watching Ancient Aliens and eating chocolate. Later that night, I would spend a few hours talking to a close male friend before I tuck myself into bed.

My Ideal valentines day would be to rest and not have to work :D I don't have any S/O in my life right now so I can't even fanthom that, but I would enjoy the day off... lol, which of course won't happen because I work in the horse industry but I wouldnt change it for a thing!!

I haven't really celebrated Valentine's Day since elementary/jr high school. Normally I'd treat it like any other day, but I was kind of looking forward to it this year as I would actually have someone to spend it with. And then naturally life happened and I was out of town the last 2 days and he'll be out of town until Saturday night/Sunday. So I've got a small gift sitting next to me ready for when he gets back.
