Welcome to Hunt and Jump. It's a great game for mastering horse color genetics and just for having fun breeding and showing pixel ponies.
There's a good overview of the game in the FAQ User Guide near the bottom of the left menu. If you still have questions (and you definitely will), don't hesitate to ask them.
