I'm becoming dapple crazy!
-
I know this particular artwork has been out awhile but I just love the dapples I am getting lately. For some reason they seem to only be on my silver blacks or silver grullos. Is it maybe the silver causing it? Either way it's lovely. Ammit does such a great job on making these horses beautiful and so unique!
My foundation stud almost looks like his dapples are glowing:

One of these days I'll invest in some Sooty+ or something and get even more dapples running around my pastures!SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

I love it too, especially on the silvers! I'm getting dapples on bays and chestnuts that aren't silver, and I've been experimenting with rerolling. I *think* I'm only seeing it on DP carriers.
Red dun (with DP)
Chestnut Splash Frame (with DP)
Black Chestnut (ooooo......!!!)
Bay Frame (with DP and Nexus causing the wacky variation in the dapples)
Bay, also has S+ (with DP)
Amber Champagne (with DP; they're a lot fainter but you can see them)
But no matter how many times I reroll a bay that has no possiblity of carrying DP, I don't get dapples. (unless silver) Curious, no?
And one more... a silver dapple with Satin. Love! -
Ammit made dapples a possibility for all colors a couple of months ago. It's neat to see them showing up.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Hmm. Are they more common on DP maybe?

Two of my solid champange gals have dapplea, and my silver grullo stud has themLife is Special live it to your fullest

Good to know they can show up on anything. It's probably just coincidental I see them only on my silvers since I have a high percentage of Silver in my breeding stock.
I love rerolling older horses to see how they change with updates to the color generation.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

I am fairly sure they ARE more common on silvers.
