My dogs are driving me crazy
-
About 2 weeks ago I neutered my 6 year old Dane Rafal who retired from breeding. Hes been swelling so I've been icing and giving him medications both to do inflammation and pain. Hes also on a sedative since he wants to run around! I have already talked to the vets since I work with them. Then 2 nights ago my other Dane Odin decided to break his dew claw in half......it finally tore off but I had to keep it wrapped. Now I am walking these two around the yard on leashes in the snow and 10 degree weather at all hours of the day and night. They really love to go out around 3am. Tomorrow I am getting my female Dane Nox spayed and my kitten Lilith. I am really hoping they do better than the boys because I am losing my mind! On top of all this I am getting the house redone and preparing for the arrival of our first baby. I feel like I live in a fun house -_-

Oh dear! :) The boys are the biggest babies, aren't they! But they are worth it! They are the biggest sweeties!

Oh wow EasternShowBarn! Luckily Rafal stands and lets me ice him. I agree Confluence! My boys are such huge babies!

Oh man, fingers crossed that the spays go smoothly.
Having my two done was by far the most dramatic show that was ever put on. One girl kept having panic attacks, the other got out of EVERYTHING and I had to sew a shirt to stop her. She kept licking her wounds and get mild inflammation and infections. Normally they can be free at day 10, but they had to last two weeks wearing special shirts I made them. Experience rated 0/10
They're still dramatic to this day.#4519 -
Thanks Bourbon! My cat Lilith spay went well. She was painful the first night so I got pain meds the next day when I went into work. My Dane Nox on the other hand has an ecollar and shirt. She’s also on pain meds and antibiotics. She had to be restitched because it separated lol so fingers crossed :)
