I'm kinda tired of trying to sell stuff and having no bites
What are you guys looking for in terms of breeding stock?
I seem to have no luck selling anything I have. Every once in a while ill sell something, but its so hard.
I have Watercolor colts/fillies, Straws from my stallions, and some mares that can be bred too.
Is anyone looking for something in particular? I need to know what people are looking to buy right now so I can get in the program. -
I find you gotta breed for what you like. Selling Horses doesn’t earn you much income in this game. I earn money by making pasture foals and auctioning them (approx 2000 per foal). And my
Show bonus. I breed for what I like and once I get that wonderful rare colored stud I find people will want to buy straws. But even then that’s only maybe 1k a straw so a 500 hb profit each straw for a ton of work to breed it. RS earn about 25 to 50k right now. But it depends on the color. I find we’re all kinda looking - if something is pretty sometimes I gotta have it ;;)Hidden Creek Farms # 31285

Selling horses and or straws shouldn't be your main source of income. :)
Yes some horse do sell for heaps but not often :D
People tend to be after eggs more than straws I have noticed, simply cause mares can't produce many foals each season.
As for straws alot have their own studs or mares for closed/rarer genes so there isn't much of a need for them unless they are wanting to add outside stock.
I'm slowly moving over to draft horses so for me I wouldn't reach my breeding goals using your horses as they are mostly riding horse. Now that isn't a bad thing and you shouldnt stop breeding them. It's just a personal preference.
As HiddenCreek said, create mares breed them in pasture and auction them off. No need to do testing(I do SBA just incase someone does purchase a foal or mare).
For every 100 horses you put in auction you get 250k. With the 250k, 125k is spent making the next 50 mares and 25k for breeding leaving you 100k :D●▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

That show pony herd is your most valuable asset.
Extra colts, especially colts who Paper C, are rarely salable. All of us have way more colts than we need, so to sell a colt it needs to be something very special. With closed genes, that’s even more the case because only a few people are able to buy the intact colts, so they have to be really exceptional both in paper level and in color/pattern to garner any interest.
As the others have said, selling horses or stud/brood fees are not the way you make money in this game. The method outlined by HiddenCreek and ParadisePark is an excellent way for a newer player to make cash quickly.
If you invest the 100k you earn in barn space and show ponies to fill it, you will build a decent show pony herd relatively quickly. Try not to pay more than the minimum auction price for show ponies—consider investing in high PT foals instead of high point older horses. You’re more likely to get them for the minimum investment. Use the horse search to search sale and auction horses by all time points and/or PT regularly to find bargains.
This game is all about the slow burn, not the flash. It takes months to build up a decent show herd and longer to build a high quality breeding program.
