Foal for Forum Auction - Snowflake Gene
-
Warning - *This is my first time doing this.*
I wanted to see if anyone has any interest in this colt I bred. The sire is homozygous for snowflake and the mare is RS First Snow. PT testing revealed 9.2 and inconsistent which is why I don't want him. I don't take any inconsistent horses. There will be no further testing done.
He is up for forum auction. Bid starting at 2500.
MS Foal 3 -
A few pointers for a first-timer (I hope you don't mind )
Is he eligible for entry to the snowflake app club? I would gene test him and find out. You will then get more for him.
However, you may not get much interest in him without doing breeding advice. He may not pass in which case he will not be worth much. If you do it and he passes again he may be worth more. It is your choice.
He is unevenly bred as well which may put some people off.
And, like you, many people prefer consistency (personally I think consistency is much less important than passing breeding advice).
:)
