Hi, Febe. Welcome to Hunt and Jump. It's a great game, and I hope you are indeed soon enjoying it as much as I do.

It's a complex game, but don't worry. We're a friendly group and like to help new players get started. You'll find a good basic overview of the game in the FAQ linked near the bottom of the left menu, and more help at the Breeding Info link below it. However, please don't hesitate to ask if you have any specific questions. You'll probably have an answer or several fairly quickly.

The game isn't a competition between players. Our main opponent is the life-like variability Ammit, the game's owner and creator, has built into almost every aspect of it. This makes the game occasionally frustrating, but helps keep us from getting bored because everything is too predicable. It can take a while to get your stable started. I suggest that you start out just playing around with the breeding and showing, then decide on specific goals once you've begun to get a handle on the game. Each of us creates our own goals and works towards them. This is the second thing that helps make this a community that is friendly and helpful.
