Trophies and ribbons are awarded for the top ten horses in each of the divisions of the Breeders Clubs, every year at the end of breeding season. First place in the category gets a trophy, the other nine places get ribbons. The leaderboard for each has 25 places, and all of them have to be filled for the awards to be made. Rarer colors or patterns, like brindle, for instance, may not have enough horses to fill all of the categories. The trophies and ribbons that a horse has earned are displayed on their records tab, above the list of show results.

Breeders clubs categories are Top Producing Stallions, Top Producing Mares, Top PT of the Year, Points Earned by Foundation Horses, Points Earned by 2nd Generation Horses, and Points Earned by Lined Horses.

You have to enter the horses into the clubs, up to four of them. However, when you create a horse, it is automatically entered into the appropriate era club. If you buy a horse from someone, and its previous owner had entered it in various clubs, that club registration remains after the sale. Foals are not automatically entered into breeders clubs.

I asked about this else where and then found this. Sorry! And thanks SandyCreek for great info as usual :) I didn't know that entering them in clubs was important until now.
