Snowflake GMT assistance
-
So I did a little test and found that my Meteoric daughter was a snowflake carrier :x Only thing is.. you can’t really tell because he’s SO white. I haven’t decided whether to keep him or not (he’s papered C and his PT is lousy) but he is my first home bred snowflake. I will repeat the cross though, so this is almost a “for future reference” kind of question.
If I was to GMT him (or future babies from the cross if I don’t keep this little dude) what would everybody recommend removing to make him... not so white!

I would make his White Factor (WF at the very end of his gene testing results. Also found at the bottom of the page in the GMT lab) minimal or none. It costs 1 GMT to change White factor to any other White factor setting. I would assume that his W10 and W8 are overwhelming his base color and that’s why he’s so white, so reducing WF would tone those markings back down. If you look carefully, you can see spots on his shoulder so I think he’s acfually got a fair amount of color.
You could also just try rerolling him. Go to his control panel page, and towards the bottom there’s a button to Reroll Portrait. It will take you to the IV spend page, but it doesn’t cost IVs to reroll, just 100hbs. You may have to reroll several times, but you might get a more colorful portrait before you commit to spending a GM token. Just remember that when you get a Portrait you like, don’t hit Back or anything to try to get back to the barn. Your best bet is to close that tab on your browser and reopen the game to try to save that coloring for the colt.
He’s a cutie! I wish you luck repeating the cross! -
You could just navigate back to the barn or click the link on the page to the horse to get back to them. :P
