How much?
-
How much is a reasonable price for brood fee for an RS?
These will be up for public brood once they turn of age but I just don't know how much to charge
Sweet 1G RS
Ghostly 1G RS
Metallica 1G RS -
Sweet and Ghostly are exceptionally perfect mares. That makes them the equivalent of a 2nd gen in breeding ability. There's a very small chance that Sweet might produce a brindle foal, but it's very small. Ghostly doesn't have any particularly special genes. You might be able to get 2000 for them as a breeding fee.
Metallica is only a perfect foundation. If she were mine, I'd probably put her up for the default 1000.
However, I really don't ever put mares up for public brood, and rarely go looking for outside mares to breed to, so I'm no authority on the issue.
De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

I've brooded my RS mares out for 6-7k in the past and they do seem to get used. Some of the RS are more popular than others, but I was under the assumption that because they were an RS you could charge a little more for their brood fee?
