Maribo will sell it back to you, I can guarantee that she did not buy the horse intentionally to cause grief or problems, she probably didn't look at the name or the notes, just the price, color and/or stats.

Do remember that selling horses that way is strictly against the rules.

If you are both (buyer and seller) a member of a chat room (a color chat, or any other chat room owned by another player) and the owner of the chat room gives you permission, then you can do it that way. Beyond that, no, there is not a way for members with a free account to designate a specific purchaser on the public boards.

I thought that you have to have at least a basic upgrade to use the breeding and selling sections to put up your own horses?

Wendolyne, you may want to take a few minutes and read over the rules again.

Putting a horse on the boards marked for sale to only one person can result in the horse simply being removed from the game. And while you can ask - politely - for someone to sell you back the horse, they don't have to. If you get angry or rude with them, then it's harassment which can actually get you kicked from the game if it's deemed severe enough.

There's a link to the rules on the left side, towards the bottom. Horse sales are covered under the section "member interactions". But I'd suggest you go over the whole page, there's a lot of stuff other games put up with that we don't. Like having 500 accounts.

Everyone can sell on the public list.
You can not reserve a horse on public sales, even if you do anyone is able to purchase that horse.

Free accounts cannot sell horses in buddy chats.

Basic upgrades can sell in a buddy chat so long as the owner has the setting open to allow so.

Premium upgrades can create chats and obviously sell in those chats.

You can reserve horses that are posted in buddy chats.
Though people have purchased horses reserved for others in buddy chat but 99% of the time they are returned to the rightful owner.
