Accounts become associated if you all log on from the same IP address. So if you logged in from a public WiFi network sometime this month you’re likely to have become associated with anyone else who has logged in from that network before.
Apparently ISP companies switch IP addresses as needed, so even if you’ve always logged in from your private home network, the company may have changed your IP address and you logged in through a new one that someone else has played from before.
I’m associated with quite a few accounts because I often log in from public networks, especially at airports and universities. If you are in the US something as simple as logging in from a Starbucks or a MacDonalds may snag you a few associations.
This is generally not a big deal. If you do run into an issue with trying to buy or sell from/to an associated account, there are usually ways to work around that. Just don’t try to buy/sell between accounts that you own, as that is cheating. -
I dont actually recall logging into any wifis apart from friends wifis.. that's why I'm confused about how many..
Oh wait i just tell realised i went from my friends house (where i use wifi) to sydney airport. Maybe i forgot to turn it off and its automatically connected me.
I wad just a bit confused how my associated accounts jumped so much do randomlyBreeding liver chestnut drafts that carry snowflake and kp.

There are a number of ways this can happen. If you've recently played the game using some public wi-fi--at a library, McDonald's, airport, college campus, to name a few, and another player has also accessed the game from the same place, the accounts become associated.
If your Internet Service Provider is a large, wide-spread utility (think AOL), or even a fairly large regional utility, they are usually assigned a block of IP addresses which they rotate among their subscribers as they sign in and out of the service. This can also cause accounts to be associated when, by chance, they use the same IP address at different times.
The only way to prevent such associations is to pay for a dedicated IP address, if your service provider offers such a thing, for a price (I couldn't say how much that would be).
If both players have Premium Upgrades, this stops being an issue. If it does create a difficulty (for example, selling a horse to someone), finding a trustworthy player to assist in the transfer is allowed, so long as it doesn't get abused.De gustibus non disputandum. It's not something you need to worry about. It's normally pretty obvious if it's the same person or not and is only rarely an issue between players. Stops 99% of cheating though. :D
