Hi, Kristin, and welcome to the wonderful world of Hunt and Jump. The game is almost as good as owning real horses, and you don't have to toss hay bales or shovel manure. :D

The best thing about this game is that each player sets personal goals and works toward them, so we're not in competition with each other, only with the lifelike variability and uncertainty built into almost every feature of the game. This makes for a friendly and helpful community, do please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have.

The FAQ linked near the bottom of the left menu is a good place to start to get an overview of the game. Then, when you do find something that puzzles you, just ask about it and you will get a fairly speedy answer.

Near the top of the forum pages you will find a place to sign up for a New Member Welcome Pack which gives you some extra game money and a small barn.
