  • Hello everyone! Call me Horse (creative, huh?) I've been on here for four days now, and I've been really enjoying it! I'm looking to breed Tobianos, mostly blacks and gray spotted ones. In real life, I own a guinea pig, a dog, and a cat, and I ride english! I love to draw and listen to music, shoot archery, and I used to do taekwon do. I'm looking forward to playing with you all!

  • We're excited to have you! I love black Toby's! If someone hasn't already explained the generations, I hope they will, but I have a black Toby 2G WB if you would ever like to breed to him. I ride English a lot too. Also like music and was in choir.
Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.
  • @HunterUnderSaddleGirl I do not how the generations work, but I would be interested in your black Toby once I get a good mare for him!
  • Hi HorseSpiritand welcome! It's a great game and community!

  • @ConfluenceFarms

Thank you!! I saw your post about the show horses earlier and sent you a message, thanks again!
  • Ok, so here's a quick run down on the generations.

The foundation horses in the game, with no see-able pedigree, are generation 1. If you breed two generation 1 horses together, you get generation 2. If you breed two generation two horses together, you get generation 3, and so on and so forth.

What you're looking for is an increase in quality in the pairings/generations. Everyone goes at their own pace, so don't be worried if you feel like one of your generations isn't equal in quality to someone elses! For now breeding advice should be enough.

The example I posted above is what's called an "even pedigree", where both sides match up.

For example, this is a third generation, even bred horse:

This one is an uneven bred horse, with one parent a foundation and one parent being second generation:

  • @ObsidianKitsune

Thank you for the explanation! That makes a lot of sense :D
  • Welcome HorseSpirit. Looking forward to seeing you around. I ride English too - cos I am English - I've never ridden western although would love to at some point! ;) I breed red based horses on here.
Chilli x (and Dinascar - my other account who may have some black tobianos amongst all the others!)
  • @ChiliFireFarm

Awesome! I learned to ride western actually, but I wanted to try english after I moved and fell in love! And don't mind me while I stalk your Dinascar account... XD
    Thanked by 1ChilliFireFarm
  • I have a few newer foundation horses that are "great show horses", so will train and show well. If you are interested, let me know. :)
