I'm usually pretty good on figuring out if the horse has DP or not, but this one is confusing me, probably because he is roan. As far as I know, neither of his parents look to be carriers, but then I wasn't breeding them for DP, just to see what I would get. The horse is SS, so has no "darkness" to his body, yet he looks like he would be a StySty or at least a StyS, so I'm thinking he might be DP. What do you think?

Yup, he is way to dark for SS.

Probably a dark red run roan with DP

Hmmm neither look like they could be carriers since they both look SS to me, but maybe their pictures haven't been rerolled recently?

Well, they are both fairly new creates, from Feb and March, with the new head set, so I didn't think I needed to re-roll them.

I think they were created pre-DP revamp though (the update that made it impossible to tell a SstySsty w/ no DP from a SstyS with 1 DP). According to a post I made in the facebook group, the red values were adjusted at the beginning of April on HJ2, and I think around that time was when DP was tweaked as well. I would reroll - my guess is the sire will get redder but still look SS, and the dam will go darker.

Ok, I re-rolled them and boy what a change! The stud is now a solid colored caramel, with a white foot, and the mare doesn't show the roaning like she used to and is also darker (mane and tail), I like her looks a whole lot better, but I'm going to miss the little bit of white on the studs nose that he had.
