I could probably come up with something to make it easier to read
Edit: I was looking through the genetics info on the HJ links hoping to get a little bit more of an understanding on the genetics of horses in real life and in the game and it has made so much more sense nowEasternShowBarn

Cream and pearl are on the same locus, so it is Cr/prl or Cr/cr or cr/prl etc. Single pearl gene has no effect by itself, only if combined with a second pearl or with a cream.#28036
-
CC - no cream
CcrC - heterozygous cream--palomino, buckskin, smokey black
CcrCcr - homozygous cream--cremello, perlino, smokey cream
CCprl - heterozgous pearl--no color change
CprlCprl - homozygous pearl--affects color and appears in the color name
CcrCprl - pseudo-double dilute--palomino pearl, perlino pearl, smokey black pearlDe gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Out of curiosity, for the pseudo-double dilutes, with a bay based horse would the name be buckskin pearl? To follow the naming of the other bases. Black and red keep their single cream name with pearl added at the end.

Good question, Ritsika. You and Meribo are right. There wouldn't be a perlino pearl.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Yea I have never seen a Perlino pearl I'm guessing it would be a palomino pearl unless perlino has an E I don't remember the exact genes for perlino lol
-
Perlino is bay with cream, there are tons of buckskin pearls on the game back when I bred pearl it'll be basically all I got.21170 ~ Breeder of quality Liver Chestnut and Chocolate Palomino riding horses and ponies with unique twists. Specializing in Kit Promoter with fancy white patterns.

Thanks Cheers I wondered about that. And very pretty pearls Northern :x

@starfire I always want to call smokey cremes perlinos. Don't know why but for some reason I've decided that's what a perlino is....always have to go look it up real fast!
-
Oh right they do sound the same lol I don't know why but it sounds like a palomino pearl but without pearl but perlino does have a E like bay
-
Oh perlino is double EE double cream didn't know that lol
-
@StarfireAcres Perlinos don't need EE, they are bay based double creams, which means EE or Ee with one A, At or A+ and double creamProducer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Oooh I get it lol thank you I don't breed for E coats so I'm not very familiar with it :)
-
It's all good. Just remember that the big numbers (E, A, etc) dominate little a! Which causes the changes in colours, with aa resulting in blacks, and a? with any E resulting in bays (red with black I remember it as)Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Ok awesome thank you I think I have heard that before so it sounds right :) I forget stuff so easily then someone reminds me and I'm like oh yea duh face palm lol it happens all the time
