What genes are closed in the game?

Nexus is not closed. However, Nexus and the "open" Ices cannot be sold on the public Sales board or put up for public breeding. They can only be sold through the auctions (public or private) or through Buddy Chat rooms, and they can be used for Buddy Chat breeding or you can sell eggs/straws.

I think breeders choose to keep nexus closed but it's still considered an open gene.

I removed a post that contained confusing information. Nexus is not a closed gene, but yes some breeders agreed not to share their lines. Not the same as closed. :)
