I don't know a ton about DP but I think I might be getting the hang of it, mabey. Does this foal have DP and how do you know?

I think its a good possibility. The only way you will know is to breed him to chestnut or pal hom sooty mares and see if you get a liver!DivineDreams ~ 30908

I don't breed for DP bays, so I haven't developed my eye to spot it, but if he does have DP, it has to have come from his sire, since his dam is a homozygous sooty palomino and would therefore be a chocolate palomino if she had DP.I was jllewis on the old forum.

Posted on the ISO Broodmares, but he looks a little darker than my known silver bay het dp. I think he's het, and a little darker because she's got w2 to wash her out a little bit, and natural variance in the coat.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
