Papering, Snipping, and the Testing trials.

Is anyone else draining their daily bonus to sort out all of their colts before new breeding season?
I ended up with 68 colts this breeding season (plus a few more that were chucked into auction) and I've got it narrowed down to about 15 boys left. I'm still going through and comparing them so it'll be less than that in a few days.
I've had some surprises as I've gone through testing everyone.
1.) My BOP from my normal pasture is superior to the only colt from my boosted pasture that survived the stud testing trials.
2.) An inconsistent foal tested AGA a seriously high bench mark. I thought that one was a goner.
3.) My RS Kings Ransom stud has had less intact foals than my PF stud.
4.) One of my expro mares that I bought for pennies is het SNF and threw a SNF gelding!
5.) Despite my PF stud only having one copy of roan, he's been bloody consistent in making miniature clones of him everywhere. All his babies are easily recognisable as his babies! Honestly, they're all clones.
Has anyone else had any interesting occurrences this breeding season? Are you all as drained for hb's as I am? I've also got another 41 foals left to name OTL#4519 -
Before I compare I go down the line and geld all Colts that didn't paper as well as their sire. That usually gets rid of a bunch. Then I geld inconsistent colts, unless I really like them and plan to gmt them consistent. Then I go by color, if they didn't inherit the colors I want for that line, snip snip. This usually makes it so I only have maybe 10 Colts to compare and I usually only end the season with less than 5 intact colts.

That's usually my main process Kassierae however I ended up with an abundance of colts papered the right level, high PT, right colours and also consistent. It was a bit of headache this time since they were all pretty good!#4519

I have stopped doing it all at the end of season. I take it slowly and sort each barn/breed as I go. That way I don't have to get overwhelmed by all the babies LOL
My surprises for this season is:
*How many A/Blue babies I got (2nd & 3rd Gen)
*I bred my first 4th Gen (I didn't realise I was up to 4 LOL
*I have so many RS horses from rerolls and being quick in the forum LOL I actually don't know what I will do with them all.
* I also discovered two Het Snowflake foundation mares in my creating spree.
I am dying for next season. I have so many Mares that will be ready for their first season (That I bred). In the mean time I will be happy to see how my babies look in a couple of days as grownups :D♡ ID #23495 ♡

I've been doing it as I go along thankfully, but still my last batch was just massive and a bit more of a better quality than I imagined. It's like the bad luck of my last three seasons have given way to to an awesome season (of too many boys!!)#4519
