So, I've started to think about getting a basic upgrade for this account, but I have a few questions :P
So, first question- could I use a visa gift card to buy the upgrade? My parents would never let me buy this using their credit card, and I don't have my own /:)
Second- if I bought the 3 month upgrade, do you think I would have enough time to buy the 30 ivs and upgrade with game money after the 3 months runs out?
That's all I can think of at the moment, and thanks in advance! :D
I love horses, and I have 2 in real life, so I was really excited when I found this game! I haven't been on very long, but I've seen that everyone is so nice and helpful, and I think it would be great to have an upgrade and be able to do even more stuff! :)

It took me a while to get the basic upgrade via IVs. I could only get it when I did because I was selling RS on the forums. 30 IVs equates to 375000hbs.

The 12500 Sunday bonus will get you 200000.
You'd need a daily show bonus of at least 1450 to raise the rest in a 3 month period.

I just bought my basic upgrade using IVs. I mainly made all my money by creating 4 year old mares, breeding them in pasture for 500 hbs and then auctioning the mares and the foals. I didn't even bother testing any of the creates because I was just auctioning them and their foals off anyway.

You can do it with a gift card, that's what I did on my main!

That's what I do when I'm in need of quick cash takes about 6 weeks or so depending on how many stalls you have. If you have 30 empty stalls and an empty pasture create 29 4 year old mares use studs you already have put ten in take ten out 3 times after breeding 29 mare and taking them all out take out all the babies because you just will over load your primary barn then you will auction them all making 145000 each auction. To start this you will need a pasture with at least one stall open, 30 empty stalls and 87500 hbs. And you will have the money you need in one week. You can do this with less but it will take longer.

@MF2, I only had 7 open stalls, and not a lot of money, so that plan would take a while lol. I did as many as I could and I could only make 3 mares and breed them before I ran out of money

You can use a Visa/MasterCard/American Express gift card to purchase most real money upgrades on HJ, and you do not need a PayPal account in order to make a purchase. When you go to make a purchase, the game gives you the option to check out using PayPal or check out without using PayPal. The only thing you can't buy with a visa giftcard is a premium upgrade because that's a monthly subscription and you can't do recurring charges on a gift card, only one time payments.
