It's a good thing that PT and breeding are not at all connected, especially with foundations. I once had a mare in H&J1 that had a 2.? PT and papered Red. She was one of my favorite brood mares, until I lost her to old age.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

And a 0.4. I have some ok foals out of her though. She has the #5 Top PT W2, Year 16 foal from my stallion Nottingham. So I breed the lower PT mares to see what I get in their foals. I have a couple of foals
