If you have difficulty with a time difference, or an associated account, you can usually find someone with a chat room who will help out. Otherwise you will need to schedule a time when you and the buyer are both online and make sure they snag the horse as SOON as you put it up for sale. It generally works, but there is the risk that someone else can get the horse, and, while you can ask the accidental buyer to put it back up for sale, you cannot harass or bug that person if they say no.
