I've been trying my hardest to get a decent profit from my horses but it's so hard. I don't know if I have the right horses or not could some of you take a look at my barn and see what is wrong and how I could fix it or help me out a little?
It would be very much appreciated.
Thank you

I'm a relatively new player, so there are probably more seasoned stables that can offer better advice. However, having looked at your stable, I have a couple recommendations.
First and foremost, it takes time. I don't think there's a quick way to make hbs here, other than purchasing them with real money. I've been playing for about 2 months and I'm still waiting for my daily bonus to get above 3000. (It was for a bit, then lost some high points show horses and am crawling back up). It will take time and patience, but you'll get there.
Altered show ponies is where you're going to make the bulk of your money. It doesn't look like you've picked up your two Available to Adopt show ponies and I'd highly recommend doing that! These high point ponies will help your daily bonus.
Get some geldings and spayed mares and show them each week. I've noticed there are quite a few altered perfect foundation horses in the foundation rescue. Though they can't be bred, they have perfect showing ability and could develop into good showers, as well. You can find them here:http://hj2.huntandjump.com/adv_search.php?runsearch=1&status=sale&ageg=&agel=&agee=&erag=&eral=&erae=&heightg=&heightl=&heighte=&boneg=&bonel=&bonee=&f_basic=none&f_adv=none&f_limit=25&stallion=1&mare=1&gelding=1&spayedmare=1&bty=1&lined=lined&foundation=1&name=&name_lm=like&color=&color_lm=like&owner=13&owner_lm=like&breeder=&breeder_lm=like&sire=&sire_lm=like&dam=&dam_lm=like&barn=&barn_lm=like&pasture=&past_lm=like&tattoo=&tat_lm=like&tat_and=and&club=&bc_lm=like&bc_and=and&e1=&e2=&a1=&a4=&a2=&a3=&f1=&f2=&p1=&p2=&s1=&s2=&s3=&c1=&c2=&c3=&d1=&d2=&g1=&g2=&ch1=&ch2=&z1=&z2=&sa2=&sa1=&kit1=&kit2=&kit3=&kit4=&kit5=&kit6=&kit10=&kit11=&kit12=&kit7=&kit8=&kit9=&sp1=&sp2=&sp3=&spM=&pax31=&pax32=&rb1=&rb2=&o1=&o2=&l1=&l2=&ice1=&icei=&ice2=&ice3=&ice4=&ice5=&ice6=&ice7=&ice8=&ice9=&ice10=&ice11=&ice12=&ice13=&nexn=&nexx=&nexr=&nexg=&nexb=&brindle1=1&brindle2=1&wf1=1&wf2=1&wf3=1&wf4=1&wf5=1&wf6=1 -
Hello Oak creek!
The best way to make hbs is to invest in established show horses. It is best to look for horses with total points in the auctions held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
I wish I took this advice when in first started instead of worrying about breeding right away.
If you give me your ID I'll add your to my buddy chat and give you 2 show horses to help -
Hi Oak Creek!
In addition to the others advice about investing in show ponies, don't forget to train and show all of your horses every week. Every single point counts!
Another way to gain a bit of money is to breed foals in your pasture at the cost of 500 per foal and auction them in the public auction, where they will sell for a minimum of 2500 hbs, a 2000 hb profit if you only do free testing on them. This is a way to earn some relatively quick money, but investing in show ponies to gain a high show bonus is your best route to long term wealth in this game. -
You will be surprised that as you aquire more show horses how that showing bonus will grow! Get show horses. LOTS of show horses. Take the 2 RedDee is offering and get the ones from the AvailableToAdopt barn.
HOARD show horses.
Stalk the sales boards. Search for For Sale>Advanced Sort = All time points & buy anything younger than 18 years old, with 50+ all time points that costs 3000 or less. Stash those horses in a barn, train them every week, enter them in a show twice a week and don't even bother seeing how they place (for now)
If he is still there when you see this, buy this horse, geld him and keep him as a show horse: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=802531

Young show prospects are also a great investment, but they won't earn a significant amount of points or hbs for a couple of game years. You can generally pick up yearlings or 2 year olds that have a PT score of 11+ for around 3000 hbs each from the public auction, and often it's a little less than that. But again, just remember that you'll have to wait for a few game years before you will earn much money from young show horses.

Profit is the difference between what you pay to enter a horse in a show and what it earns as a cash prize for its placing. Only the top half of the horses in a class will make this kind of profit, and it is no longer particularly important in the long run.
Horses are also awarded a number of points based on where they place in a show. Only the last horse gains no points at all. How many points are given depends on the level of the show and the number of horses in it. Ammit has given us a showing bonus that is based on the total number of points the horses we own have gathered. Horses keep their showing points when they are sold. This is the way our stables make their greatest income, once we have played long enough to acquire a sizeable herd with lots of showing experience.
All the advice you've already been given will help you to begin increasing your income. Remember to show all your horses that are not in a pasture regularly, whether intact or neutered. The neuters do get some advantage in training, but since these are only pixel ponies there are no great drawbacks to putting your stallions and mares into shows as well.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Like Sandycreek said, gelding and spaying do give you some training advantages, but horses that are not neutered can still make you a lot of money. This is currently the highest pointed horse in the game and he is a stallion, not a gelding. Moral of the story is show pretty much everything you own because they can all earn you money. I'd say the only exception are those ridiculously low PT foundation mares (think PTs of 5 of less) and they are great candidates to live in your pasture permanently because they are so bad at showing that they won't ever earn anything significant. Also, you can't train yearlings so their scores can't improve until they turn 2. They start out with a random base score (I think between 0 and 6) and their score won't change at all until they are older if they're perfectly consistent. If they're not as consistent their score will swing up or down a bit.
