  • Idk if I can predict if all goals will be brindle or not?
  • Brindle is extremely rare and it's not actually a gene, it's caused by a chimeric mutation if I remember correctly. In real life, I'm pretty sure brindle in horses can't be inherited and it's just random. On HJ, a brindle parent will have a slightly higher chance of giving a brindle foal than a none brindle parent, and the chances are a little bit higher than that if both parents are brindle. However, brindle is still incredibly rare even if both of a foal's parents have brindle. There are people who breed hundreds or even thousands of foals every year and they may only get one or two brindles from that. I think you can also get a brindle from two non-brindle parents if you are ridiculously lucky.

tldr; brindle is incredibly rare and you can't reliably breed for it. A brindle foal is a wonderful surprise but don't count on that happening.
  • Thank you for the info (: now I understand it a bit better(:
