Consistency testing older horses - Answered
  • Hey all,

I have a few older horses that went through Performance testing before it became combined with Consistency testing (now called Performance Inspection). How would I test the consistency of these horses?

One) I have not option on their individual page to put them through Performance Inspection.
Two) Mass selecting from the stable home page does not put them through Performance Inspection. I get a notification saying: "This horse has already been performance tested."

Specifically, I would be interested in testing the consistency of this stallion:

He has a lower AFPT score than I would expect at his generation and I noticed that quite a few of this auto-altered foals were inconsistent, which makes me wonder about his consistency. Consistency plays a part in PT score so I was wondering if perhaps the AFPT score was lowered because of the inconsistent foals.

Anyone have an extra trick that I haven't tried to test his consistency?

Thank you for your time. :)

  • You can always do it the old fashioned way and look at his show scores. He appears to be extremely consistent and it looks like he gets the same score in both of his shows every week. While he was a yearling he showed in 6 classes, and he scored a 1 in every single one. He certainly seems consistent and I highly doubt he'd test inconsistent. He's about to turn 10, so if he was inconsistent you'd have probably seen that in his show scores by now.

  • Yes I think he is consistent to just based off his show placing And also it's interesting that he is Kitm but it does not say he is white spotted in his color name

  • @WindwardFarm, whoops! I totally forgot that I could look at his showing history and, now that I've looked, I agree that he appears consistent. Thank you for the reminder. :)
  • I wonder why his color name doesn't say White spotted even though he has white M. I didn't notice that before but it seems kind of strange.
  • @WindwardFarm, he was gene tested before the update of Kit and the addition of white spotting mutation. :)
  • Refreshing the pic will fix that.
