With a TWIST!

You nominate SOMEONE ELSE to get the new Long and Luscious tack pack! You will also get a prize if your nominee wins, but the tack pack goes to the other player.

There are so many great people on the forum that don't get near the recognition they deserve. There are those that everyone recognizes, but there are some who just quietly do good things. Lets give them a big public Thank You!

Write a couple paragraphs about why you think a particular player should recieve the tack pack. Don't make it too long! :)

Include whatever you believe makes them special!
If you think they are a super conscientious breeder,
If you think they are really helpful,
If they have regularly given good advice,
If you just think they are a really interesting person
NOMINATE THEM!

Keep It Positive! Play nice!

Confluence Farms, Available To Adopt, and Ammit are not eligible.

IMPORTANT THING!
Contest entries will NOT be accepted before Friday, May 12th at 5:00 PM game time.

Contest will end at rollover on Sunday night, May 14th.

I will review the nominations on Monday and Tuesday and will announce the winner on Wednesday, May 17th sometime after 5pm game time.

This is a VERY subjective contest. If I get more than one entry that I think is deserving I will ask Ammit to pick one! (shhhh...I haven't asked her if she'll do it yet!)

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING!
At the top of your entry put your ID first, then the ID of the person you are nominating. IF YOU DON'T PUT AN ID NUMBER IN YOUR ENTRY YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE!

I joined HJ2 back in March and spent a couple weeks poking around, trying to get my bearings. Especially compared to other games I've joined, I was impressed with the support and welcome I received from the game and many members. Other games I've joined have always felt very elitist and competitive; there was an inner circle of established players that was impossible to approach as a Noob.

Though I haven't encountered that here, Goobani was especially welcoming and generous. On several occasions since joining, she's offered straws and breeding opportunities to her established horses. Not only did this help me get my footing, but it was a wonderful introduction to the cooperative and helpful community here at HJ2.

Tipsy has been incredibly helpful with taking my babies that are too big and always shows good etiquette over the forum. She puts all of her horses through appropriate testing and actively breeds good quality horses. Tipsy looks out for other players and is helpful.

I joined in Dec 2016. The individual who has impacted and influenced my game the most is Cheers. When I first joined, I had picked some horses from Cheers from Available to Adopt. I was new and was not sure what to look for. Instead of just giving me the ones I asked for, she gave me the choice to take different ones that were better. Those horses have earned year end awards and still are earning lots of points for me.

Much of my breeding stock and show stock has come from Cheers's stock. They form the cornerstone of my game.

Cheers has not only provided me horses, but she is helpful and always willing to answer a question. She is willing to answer questions for anyone wishing to learn. She has also provided me with her culling strategy that I follow (with a few modifications). This has enabled me to breed better stock.

Cheers has given many players everything they need to get a good start in this game.

Not to mention Cheers has some of the best and interesting horse names in the game.

I think that Kintara definitely deserves some recognition! She is so helpful in the community on the forum & is often seen answering those frequently asked questions. Her ponies are to die for and are incredible quality. She's been a total inspiration to me with her awesome lines. She has been very good to me with giving me straws and even some of my favorite ponies!

Skylight #20418 Nominating Roseflute #3692.

I was just shy of a few IVs to get the member upgrade and I had listed a whole bunch of horses for sale to get it. Most of them I didnt want to sell. I posted why I had them listed.

Roseflute donated the money that I needed to get the upgrade and then some. Due to their kindness I was able to get the upgrade AND keep all of my horses. I was just blown away by their kindness.

I'm nominating Goobanni for a few reasons. The first is because her draft horses, especially the appys make me drool and want to steal them. Goobanni is an excellent breeder and I'm always excited to see what's next in those stables. Now to remember to look at her stallions before I breed my mares!

The second reason is because Goobanni is always ready to help people. She's offered straws and eggs to me, and is quite frequently in the forums answering a few questions and offering the use of her horses to others. Goobanni also does this in a friendly and polite way.

The reason why I am nominating Cheers should be obvious. I joined the game a little while before Cheers had to get ready to pack up and leave, and so got to experience what an awesome mentor she is. The game was rather confusing to me at first, but with Cheers and a few others helping I managed to get a good grasp of this game and am able to try and help other new players.

Also, if it wasn't for Cheers, I wouldn't have been able to start my very own w8 line. I already have an intact 3G stallion with w8 ready to be bred to next season, as well as two mares that have so far made it through testing, and just need to be aged up!

Many players have been helpful to me in my journey in this game. One of the earliest contributions to my herd was from Ondowa in the form of straws from her gorgeous stallion, Wolf Constellation. The first color I fell in love with in this game was silver Grullo and her Wolf Constellation was a gorgeous silver Grullo rabicano. His son, Lupine Jewel, was one of my favorite early gen 2 stallions and his offspring twine through my old herd.

What I remember most about this is that I had contacted Ondowa about a couple of straws from her boy and she graciously sent them. She later contacted me to say Wolf Constellation was likely to age out of the game and offered me some more straws before that rollover. This was truly going above and beyond and completely exemplifies the wonderful community we are a part of in this awesome game. Thank you Ondowa!!!

I nominate Rhythm Falls, while we never really talked they were super awesome when I accidentally over bidded on a pony of theirs in auction.(Was super low on funds at the time) Rhythm offered to buy her back, I chose to keep the pony so in return Rhythm gave me a free show pony to compensate :D

I nominate SandyCreek as they has always been super helpful to myself and others. Sandy was a huge help to me on HJ1 and made it easier to give my horse there to the ATA program. Despite being at different time zones SandyCreek was very patient when I was transferring the ponies to her. :)

best friend 14374 is nominating mystic rose 11075. She helped me when I first got started. She answers questions no matter if the question is asked multiple times. To me she has one of the nicest horses here.

When I first got started she gave me some nice horses and my favorite being Halloween Dancer. He is my most beloved line besides Joeys Dream. She helps everyone. She is kind and always welcomes new members and always willing to answer questions.

She gave me a few nice show ponies to get me started when I first started here. She is also willing to help anyone that needs it. I love how she comes up with the names of her horses.

Lots of players are generous with their time, their knowledge and their lines. Many older players have given me a leg up with high quality stock or show ponies with lots of points. Many players, new and old, have risen to the task or come to the rescue when I have put out a plea for a special color to start a line. But Beadingterri stands out, in two ways.

Terri owned one of the boosted original Ice 1 stallions, Silver Bells. He was a clone from that very first boosted HH group, and when he was about to pass she let some of his straws go, guaranteed!, out into the general population. I got two drop dead gorgeous fillies from that sale...

And then, when my much loved Dark Pearl, an A Papered son of one of those original boosted stallions, passed away at rollover I was really sad. More than that, my breeding program was quite reliant on having that superior stallion to use for comparison testing. Beadingterri came to my rescue with a clone of an A Papered son of her Silver Bells!

Terri takes great care of lots of new players, and she has been so generous with her special, expensive lines! I am so thankful to her!

I'm not going to assign a horse to each person....I will just put up 90 horses for 1hb each and you buy 5 of them. I'm going to try and keep them all in the same points range, but no guarantees.
