Horse Dropped a Level
-
Hi! I have this horse who jumped up a level in his showing then jumped back down for the next one. I'm not too worried, he gains more points in the lower one but is it normal for a horse to do this?
KI SH 24 -
Yes, this is normal in the situation your stallion is in. He has Levelled Off (stopped training) towards the top of a class (consistently placing in the top of that class and earning you lots of points) but even Levelled Off horses will very very very slowly go up in points. He's now on the cusp between the two classes, goes into the higher class for a few rounds and places consistently last, and the game automatically drops him down for a few rounds.
He's not very old...he may eventually gain enough training to not drop down anymore and will simply place last in the upper class for a while. At that point if you show by hand, you might stop showing him just to save his entry fees but you shouldn't sell him if you have room for him. He has over 1000 points at 12 years old--really good for a foundation! He's currently earning you about 10hbs per day in show bonus alone, so he's more than earning his keep just with that.
(Remember show bonus is not included in a horse's profit or loss calculation, just entry fees and prize money). -
He isn't going anywhere, he's one of my best show ponies :)) Thank you for the information @Cheers eyerytime I think I've got it down something new crops up.
