BA vs SBA
-
What is the real difference? Are the horses who pass SBA better quality than the ones who only lass BA?
-
When I upgraded I tested all my horses with SBA and lost half my foundations. On the other hand that meant the ones that passed had higher quality foals.
-
Can basic upgrade members do strict advice if so the only thing showing up for me is breeding advice.
-
Only premium players can use strict breeding advice. I'll use an example to compare the differences. The numbers I am using are just arbitrary to illustrate the point.
Say you have a stud with 90% breeding ability and a mare with 88% breeding ability. They have three foals:
Foal 1 70% breeding ability
Foal 2 88% breeding ability
Foal 3 97% breeding ability
Now say you run the foals through regular breeding advice first:
Foal 1 is gelded because he is lower in ability than both parents.
Foals 2 and 3 stay intact because they are similar or better in ability to both parents.
Now you run foals 2 and 3 through strict breeding advice:
Foal 2 is gelded because he is similar in ability to his mom and slightly worse than is dad.
Foal 3 stays intact because he is better than both parents.
So in this example the strict breeding advice helped you weed out the worst and ok but not great foals. Whereas normal breeding advice would only help you weed out the worst foals.
Nobody knows what the cut offs are for a horse to pass breeding advice or strict breeding advice so again the numbers above are an example. Just trying to illustrate the principle of the tests.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES
